    Weekend Project: DIY Magazine Rack

    Materials needed:

♦ 2 equally sized, rectangular shape wooden planks

    ♦ Meter/Ruler

    ♦ Laser Wood Saw

    ♦ Pencil

Tip: This project involves wood cutting, but if you are not experienced with a saw, you can always ask your local hardware shop to cut the pieces of wood for you in the desired shape.

    1) Using a pencil, draw on both wooden planks the areas that have to be cut out. They have to be right in the middle of each plank, and their size has to match the thickness of the planks to fit in.

    2) Once the areas have been marked, use a wooden saw to cut the pieces out.

    3)  Then combine them just like a (3D) puzzle – that’s it!

You now have your finished magazine rack!
